CAN'T FIND A COMPANY
Companies searched:	The FFT database includes food and drinks MANUFACTURING Ultimate Holding Companies (UHC) and one main Subsidiary per product and country where a UHC is present. Currently well over 10 000 Companies and subsidiaries are in the database.
Company spelling:	All spellings are in the latin alphabet (A to Z) and in the national language (if necessary, transcribed from another alphabet, e.g. Cyrillic). Because of space constraints in the data tables, company abbreviations are frequently used. Both the long form and the short form spellings are present in the database.
Can't find a Company?	There are several possible reasons: 1. The database does NOT include intermediate companies. Thus if in between the UHC and the Key Local Subsidiary another company exists, this company will not be in the database. 2. In for example Scandinavian countries, accents on the first letter of the company may cause the company to be listed after the "Z". 3. The database includes only manufacturers. Consequently, wholesalers, retaillers, distributors, etc... are not included. 4. The FFT database covers final human consumption and consequently only manufacturers supplying this market. Thus, some major "food suppliers", such as major commodity companies, who are essentially intermediate suppliers, may not appear in the database. 5. ...and naturally Food for Thought may have missed a company, despite its best efforts!
